Meeting someone begins with a name. It’s a simple act, but it carries so much weight.
A name is a way of saying, “This is who I am. Let’s get to know each other”.

Choosing a name for a brand feels very much the same. It’s like naming a part of your heart — it’s the beginning of a story, holding the values, dreams, and connections you hope to build. For us, finding the right name was a delicate, thoughtful process. When we started working on this project, we spent a long time searching for a name that could hold the feeling behind it — something honest, alive, and steady. We are veridē. Nice to meet you.

veridē doesn’t exist in any single language. It appeared as we played with sounds and meanings inspired by Latin words like Veritas (truth), Viriditas (a word used to describe the living vitality of nature. Growth. Renewal.) and Veritas (green, symbolizing growth).

Somewhere between these ideas, the name veridē emerged. A word that carries both truth and growth. For us, it became a quiet reminder of something simple: to live honestly, to grow in your own rhythm, and to stay connected to what feels true.

veridē is inspired by the natural rhythm of life, by authenticity, and by the strength that comes from embracing who you are. It’s more than just a word — it’s an invitation, a spark, and the beginning of our story.
