    No notebook, no planner has ever stuck with me for longer than a week. But this one I fill in with real pleasure. I've even taken it with me on a trip, which for me is unheard of.

    I noticed the effect within the first week: I became more attentive to myself, to my feelings and emotions, to the finer shades of what's going on inside. The three scales turned out to be a total game changer. The first day I was a bit stumped: how am I even supposed to measure this? A few days later I could measure it down to the millimetre.

    Gratitude is a popular practice, but it never stuck with me. Sitting down to tick a box and name ten gratitudes felt kind of pointless. But here you first get your thinking going, then you remember the day, then you measure it on the scale. And by the time you write out the gratitudes, you're already open, already ready.
